Olema in the fall

Bright natural dining room nook with vases plates and fruits on the table.

People have wondered why I go out there so often on silent retreat.

It’s the unplugging.

As I’m approaching the land, I’m reluctant to turn off my radio and cellphone.

Soon after, my brain is quiet and my heart is peaceful.

It’s good to be in the season. Walking in the same woods throughout the year, I’m aware of the changes.

Autumn is divine; crisp, colorful, and invigorating. When you are in harmony with the season, creativity, clarity, good physical and personal boundaries, letting go of all attachments with appropriate grief, and being in the moment are all possibilities.

As I approach my 30th year as an Acupuncturist, I think of all the people I’ve had deep connections with. It has been such a gift! For “old times sake” – please come in for your Fall tune-up before Thanksgiving and have a session at the “old”price $75.00 from the Noe Valley days! I would love to see you!ld be to make it feel right for right now.

Later will take care of itself.

It always does.
